    Hi,

We run a Woocommerce site and several WooCommerce Plugins.

We would like to hide Theme and Plugins we use. Because we have developers working on implementing some major new projects (webredisgn, buddypress integration with woocommerce…), we would like to hire you to configure the plugin.
    Best regards,
    Juan

    ———–

We did not list all, but here are some of our concerns for example:

    *** Trusted user rules
We want that members of the platforms (editors, shop staff, customers…) can still access their Admin section (editors =create articles. Shop staff = can see and manage products. Customers = can view and edit their orders)
And we are going to install BuddyPress on top of our website very soon.
► Should we check all those “Trusted user rules” boxes ?

    *** Replace Mode
    We use Total Cache.
► Should we choose Full Page ?

    *** Hide Login Page
We have 3 Admins for the site.
If we check “Hide Login Page”, then should we tell EVERYBODY (shop staffs and ALL our customers) that their login page has changed and is now : /wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234
► Can you confirm please ?

    *** Full Hide
    It says it is Experimental.
► Does it work ? Is it safe to use it ?

    *** Hide Other Files
May it break some functionality of other plugins ?

*** CDN Path – Email sender name – Email sender address
We use CloudFlare CDN and Post SMTP Plugin.
► Should we fill in those fields? What is the purpose of them?

    *** Canonical Redirect
We use WOOF Ajax Filter Plugin.
When visitor filters out products, URl will contain parameters (i.e. https://ofrench.com/tutors/french/?swoof=1&pa_gender=male&paged=1&really_curr_tax=199-product_cat)
► Can we check this “Canonical Redirect” box ?

Hi, please check my comments below.

    *** Trusted user rules
► Should we check all those “Trusted user rules” boxes ?
    >> Yes, please.

    *** Replace Mode
    We use Total Cache.
► Should we choose Full Page ?
    >> Yes

    *** Hide Login Page
► Can you confirm please ?
    >> You have login link in the menu bar, so you won’t need to tell it to everyone.

    *** Full Hide
► Does it work ? Is it safe to use it ?
    >> You may keep it disabled.

    *** Hide Other Files
May it break some functionality of other plugins ?
    >> No, it won’t

*** CDN Path – Email sender name – Email sender address
We use CloudFlare CDN and Post SMTP Plugin.
► Should we fill in those fields? What is the purpose of them?

We’d like to hide one specific plugin (WC appointment, by Bizz Theme) and our Theme (Flatsome + Child theme).
Should we also change their folder names in Cpanel as well? And what about the settings below, are they useful for hiding this particular plugin and themes? Best regards,

    >> Physically renaming files/folders is not recommended. We recommend you to set “medium privacy more compatibility” settings scheme from HMWP start tab, and then set “rename plugin” option to ‘all plugins’ in permalinks & urls tab.

    *** Replace \/ URLs
    >> Please set this option to ‘For theme, plugins and uploads’
If in case any issue then we can check it for you.

    *** Directory List
    >> Keep this option checked

    *** Hide PHP Files
    >> Keep this option unchecked (some plugins may require direct access to PHP files)

And we recommend you not to enable options with “*”, as those options are in experimental state.

Applying “medium privacy more compatibility” settings scheme from HMWP start tab should fill in all those fields with default values. For example, ‘ext’ for New Plugin Path. You can then change these to the names of your choice. Yes, please set “rename plugins” option to ‘all plugins’

    1) Enabling these options won’t rename those CSS class names and script variables. The only way you can replace them is using “replace in html” option under Replace Tools tab. More info here – https://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-amazing-security-plugin-for-wordpress/4177158/faqs/20827

You can add replacement like below in “replace in html”:
    wc-appointments-appointment-form ==> SomeName

But it’s actually not recommended to replace CSS class names and script variables as it might break the site’s functionality. So after adding the replacement, you should check the website thoroughly and revert back if any issue.
