We’ve tested your plugin on 2 Mediatemple server. Added /files as new image upload folder. Your plugin is working fine and rewrite each image path.

Unfortunately the images are not displayed and webserver reply with Internal Server Error.
    Check image: http://164.12d.mwp.accessdomain.com/files/logo162black_.png (Image)
    Or check page: http://164.12d.mwp.accessdomain.com/agb/

    Any idea?
    Best, Marcel

    Hi, please follow these steps:

    – in HMWP start tab, set ‘Medium Pripacy – More Compatibility’ scheme and save the settings
    – in HMWP permalinks & urls tab, set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins” and save the settings

Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.

Is you are still having issue, then please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details as private reply so that we can look into it.

    Hi
I have now set fine tuning and set new upload path /files. All pictures can be found in this new folder ‘files’. The library shows the correct URL.
But in frontend I see broken images. If I try to open direct one image in browser, I see error message ‘Internal Server Error’. Try for example this image: http://164.12d.mwp.accessdomain.com/files/logo162black_.png

    How I can fix this?

    Thanks, Marcel

Hi, I tried accessing the original path “http://164.12d.mwp.accessdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/logo162black_.png” and it is giving 404 error. What is the original path for logo162black_.png before HMWP path replacement?

Also, generate debug report (from HMWP start tab) and post it here as private reply.

It seems like the theme (or other plugin) is already replacing /wp-content/uploads path to /files and hence causing conflict when you specify /files for “new upload path” in HMWP settings. I think you can simply leave “new upload path” option blank.
