    Hi.

I am having significant issues with at least the fist few sections in the Permalinks & URLS section, ie when I use them, my site (frontend) is broken.

    I have tried the following:

    1.
    New theme path: /template

    2.
    New theme path: /template
    New style name: main.css

    3.
    New theme path: /template
    New style name: main.css
Minify Style: Quick Minify (and also Safe Minify)

    4.
    New theme path: /template
    New style name: sitestyle.css

    4.
    New theme path: /template
    New style name: sitestyle.css
Minify Style: Quick Minify (and also Safe Minify)

Each one of these results in the display problem. I’ve attached a screencap to show you what I mean.

    Thanks in advance.

First make sure you followed ‘Quick Fix Guide’ located in start tab.

If it doesn’t help it means you have a customized htaccess or a multi-theme environment (e.g. a maintenance plugin). In those cases please provide login details and I do my best to fix the problem.

    Hi,

Can you check if your apache serveur has the mod_rewrite option ?

To know that, create a phpinfo page, upload it to your serveur and access to it with a browser and then search in the page for “mod_rewrite”

If it’s not present and you have SSH or telnet access to your server, search how to install it depending of the OS of your server with Google

Sorry, I’m not experienced enough with server configurations. It could be easier. Disable the plugin and go to Settings Menu > Permalink. If you could enable WP permalinks and it works in your site this means mod_rewrite is enabled. If not you need to contact your host support to enable it for you.
