Update v5 Fatal Error

Hi,
I have a Fatal Error when I update the plugin to version 5.

El plugin no ha podido activarse porque ha provocado un error fatal.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /var/www/vhosts/DOMAIN/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/hide_my_wp/lib/class.helper.php on line 267

Any solution?

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience caused. We’ll look into this asap. Meanwhile, please rename “hide_my_wp” plugin folder to something like “”hide_my_wp_bkp” in /wp-content/plugins/ directory using FTP. If still the issue then also rename your site’s .htaccess file (in your site’s root directory) to something like .htaccess-bkp

This simply means you use an older version of PHP (<5.4).

Here's a fixed version for that error! Just remove current and install new on.

As there may be more incompatibility with your PHP version. I suggest to provide login details privately I'll install and fix all the issues.

I rename “hide_my_wp_bkp”, now what should I do?

Hi imstrategy, please delete hide_my_wp completely, then download fixed version from here http://support.wpwave.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/hide_my_wp_501_install1.zip

Note: before deleting we recommend you to backup current settings by clicking on “export current settings” button in HMWP start tab.
