Hi, I activated the plugin and immediately my site has stopped working with the error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /websites/123reg/LinuxPackage22/cr/ic/to/crictours.com/public_html/crictours-new/wp-content/plugins/hide_my_wp/init.php on line 81

    The site is http://www.crictours.com/crictours-new/

    which no longer loads.

Please let me know how I fix this, Thank you.

Hi, which version of PHP are you using? If it’s below PHP 5.4 then please update PHP to version 5.4+. You might need to ask your hosting provider regarding this. Do let us know!

Hello Suman – thank you for your quick reply. The PHP version number is 5.2.17 (see http://www.crictours.com/kateversion.php), it is hosted with 123-reg.co.uk

Is the issue still there after updating to PHP 5.5.34?

No but there is a new issue – the website has lost all it’s CSS formatting and when I turn the plugin off it still doesn’t work properly as the slider stops working and the slider pictures go small.

Please find attached how it looks when the plugin is turned on. The second attachment is how it is supposed to look.

The third screenshot it how it looks when the plugin is de-activated. I think there are major incompatibilities with my other plugins. Would you like me to list them?

Please can you advise how I get my site back to the original state before I loaded the plugin?

OK – all back to original state so can we discuss a re-fund?

    Hi Suman

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I have had to delete the plugin
for now and am unable to re-load it until I have faster internet as it
fails when trying to import the plugin – is there a way I can install
the plugin by FTP’ing the files across?

    Best wishes

    Kate
