    Hi,

    It seems that the IDS Firewall is blocking my members from posting external links in the forums (bbpress) I’m assuming I need to add an Exception Field for this in the HideMyWP IDS firewall settings?

    Hi, did you try deactivating anti-spam option in HMWP general settings tab? And did you also try disabling IDS option in IDS Firewall tab? Let us know.

    Hi,

    Disabling IDS options did the trick. I kept the anti-spam option ON.

    Okay. If you want IDS to be enabled then you can try one of these:

    1) set “block threshold” to 30 or 40 in IDS Firewall tab

    2) goto Dashboard >> Intrusions, hover over the requests related to posting external links in the forum, and then click on ‘Exclude’ link to add those requests to exception list.
