I hope I am missing something, but I have been through the steps and documentation, but can’t activate the main thing I wanted, which was to hide the urls of my images and media, and also hide the main text body of my pages in the page source. This looks easy in the ‘Remove or Replace’ area of the page -https://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-amazing-security-plugin-for-wordpress/4177158

Can you please let me know just how this can be achieved as I have used the High privacy scheme and it still reveals everything in the source code. If it can not be done i will be requesting a refund as this is all I wanteed it for really.

    Thanks.

Hi, please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply), so that we can look into the issue further.

With HMWP you can mask/rename the paths like http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/xyz.jpg to something like http://www.yourdomain.com/file/2016/10/xyz.jpg so that default wordpress path is replaced and hence wordpress won’t be detected. But the previous actual URL will still be valid.

To replace any text in the site’s page source, you’ll need to add replacement in “replace in html” like below, or you may also remove the text by selecting “Remove” option during replacement.

example of our services ==> YourNewText

Do you mean that the text only gets changed in site’s page source but not when we view the site? How is that even possible? Let us know if the question is something else, and please explain with the example.

The website’s and it’s page source are actually the one, website – what you see visually, and page source is the coding behind what you see. So if you change anything in the page source that will also reflect in the website view.

From “permalinks & urls” tab you can rename/mask default wordpress paths like http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/abc.jpg, http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/themes/ThemeName/xyz, etc. to something like http://www.yourdomain.com/file/2016/10/abc.jpg, http://www.yourdomain.com/skin/xyz.

To configure HMWP plugin, you can simply follow these steps:

    – in HMWP start tab, set ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’ scheme and save the settings
    – in HMWP permalinks & urls tab, set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins” and save the settings

Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writable. After applying above settings the backend login URL will be http://www.YourDomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234 (you can change secret code “hide_my_wp=1234” from general settings tab)
