    I have a very new installation of WordPress and am getting a lot of HMWP IDS alerts. So far, they all come from the same IP, so I can easily block it, but I’m curious about what the intrusion is. It seems to be trying to access a plugin called adsmanager, which is not installed. Screenshot is attached. Can you tell me what they are trying to do?

    Hi, it seems like hacker is trying to get control of the site! Actually hackers scan websites blindly to find victims. You can ban the IP. Also, HMWP IDS will automatically take care of such intrusions.

    Hi, i’ve got the same notifications messages since a few days.
    Hackers try to access a the following url : Request URI: /mammographie/trackback/

    I’ve disabled trackbacks, pings and comments for the whole website…

    Does it mean that the hacker try to access this page also blindly ? I’ve got several other pages on my website but the alert is always for this URL.

    Hi, hackers try to do random access attempt to random websites on the web. I don’t think you need to be much worried about it as HMWP will block any such malicious requests.
