    Hey there!

    I’ve purchased the plugin earlier today and I managed to follow all the steps to set it up. So far, everything is working fine, however, I can’t seem to be able to hide the few items attached inside the .txt file

    Those would be the most important lines to hide.

    Could you please help?

    Hi, you can use “replace in html” option under Replace Tools tab to rename/remove any text/comment from the site’s page source. Please go through this FAQ – https://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-amazing-security-plugin-for-wordpress/4177158/faqs/20827

    For example, add replacements like below:

    Yoast SEO ==> SomeName
    https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/ ==> SomeName
    ==> SomeName

    Slider Revolution ==> SomeName

    I see, yes, thank you!, I’m sorry I was trying to replace the full code and it was obviously leading to an error…

    now I replaced just those lines and it worked fine…

    Great plugin and very useful!!

    The only thing I can see is some incompatibility with Visual Composer. Having HMWP set to Medium Privacy, the composer is broken when trying to create a Page/Blog

    Any thoughts or suggestions on that?, what would be the “Best Practice” in your experience? so, I don’t try and error that much…

    Visual composer shouldn’t break when HMWP is active. Can you please try disabling IDS option in HMWP IDS Firewall tab? Let us know.

    Thx!, yes tested that but Visual composer is still broken and also de Theme appears broken…

    Hi amortada,

    abc ==> xyz means to replace “abc” with “xyz”

    Yes, you are right, that solved the V Composer.

    Regarding the Theme, it was part of the same problem and now everything looks ok…

    So, we can’t change the path and we have to keep wp-admin for Newspaper theme to work correctly is that correct?.

    Yes, for now you can’t rename wp-admin when Newspaper theme is being used. We’ll try to find the solution for this in the upcoming versions.
