    Hi there,

    I am unable to login after installing to my wp website. It is redirecting towards a 404 error page. I changed the admin login page & it redirects me to 404 error page after submitting my login details on the admin page.

    I already raised a support ticket for other issue but that ticket still remained unresolved, that’s why mentioning my query here.

    As per your reply, I had already changed the admin path and rechecked all configs by logging into admin after changing plugin directory name. All things are fine.

    Note# I won’t be able to provide you the FTP access details, because my client is didn’t agree for this.
    However you can provide me with the instructions & I shall forward those to the client.

    Please suggest solution for the above given issue.
    Kindly revert ASAP….

    Hi, please try this:

    1) In “wp_options” table in your database, delete the rows with following “option_name”. Please backup your database first.
    – hide_my_wp
    – hide_my_wp_undo
    – hmwp_ids_installed
    – hmw_all_plugins
    – external_updates-hide_my_wp
    – hmwp_spam_counter
    – hmwp_temp_admin_path

    2) comment out or remove following line from wp-config.php (if you have added it there previously)
    define(“ADMIN_COOKIE_PATH”, “/NEW_WPADMIN_PATH_NAME”);

    3) Now, login to WP backend, activate HMWP and then apply “medium privacy more compatibility” settings scheme.

    4) you can then change other settings if you like.

    Note: assuming that it’s Apache server, WP single site and .htaccess file writable
