    I have followed all the steps necessary to change the wp-admin address to my own custom address but still am unable to get access to my admin panel when i try to access it via the custom address that i set as it shows me a 404 not found page.Like i said i followed all the steps. Please advise.

    Hi, if you have successfully changed the wp-admin path name, then you’ll require to login first with your login url, which will be /wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234 (default secret key if you have applied one of the pre-made settings).
    You can change this secret key from HMWP settings page and also change wp-login.php name if required. Let us know if any issue.

    i also noticed one other thing when i try to view source code for my homepage i still see WP ESPECIALLY on the areas like id names (eg id=”wp_ …”.Please advise on how to hide such as well. Please see attached file for better understanding of what am trying to explain.

    In the screenshot above, the IDs are for logged in user. Please check the site in logged out state (HMWP is for hiding wordpress from frontend).
