Hello,
I am using Marketify + Wordfence + BulletProof security …
I added the code for manual modification in the .htaccess file, the Replace tool works perfectly but when I try to modify the theme path and the other settings from the permalinks and URL section the site loads extremely hard and looks like it has no theme loaded, it is awful!!!
I have removed the theme info from both the parent and from the child css also deleted the screenshots but the theme detectors still find it…I only want to use it so that nobody knows the theme, I have other plugins that remove wp-admin and so on…
What do you suggest to do more?
Please help as soon as possible!
Thank you!
Best regards!

July 17, 2015 at 4:24 am #3680Hi, please click on “reset settings to wp” button in HMWP start tab and apply ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’ scheme. If your site’s htaccess file or config file is not writable then you should copy the rules manually from HMWP. Also, let us know you website URL so that we can check.

Currently hosts are not hidden and it’s not the issue if you do not use wordpress host. We’ll look into this on priority basis.
After applying settings in HMWP, the corresponding rules will be automatically added to htaccess file in case it’s WP single site and Apache server. But if it’s WP multisite and/or Nginx server then you’ll need to add those rules manually in htaccess or nginx config file. Please follow the documentation available within HMWP plugin folder.
If you are still having issue then please let us know website backend details as private reply.

But due to the huge amount of lines already added by security plugins there in htaccess, HMWP couldn’t auto add the rules to htaccess. So I have added the rules manually there in htaccess – lines between “# BEGIN HMWP” and “# END HMWP”
Now,
1. No theme is being detected
2. NO interference with the other plugins
3. NO interference with the theme and further posibility to update
4. NO interference with the site security
6. No page loading speed impact.July 22, 2015 at 5:53 pm #3773This reply has been marked as private.July 22, 2015 at 8:14 pm #37862. goto HMWP’s General settings tab and select the “trusted user roles”
5. some themes/plugins use their name for CSS class names, javacript variables etc. which HMWP can’t rename/remove as these names are used internally by theme/plugin.
Thanks!
