    Hi

I have upgraded to Version 5.01, and when I enable “Monitor potensial dangerous requests.” under Enable IDS, I get 404 error – page not found. If I disable it, I do not get any 404 error. There has nothing that has changed on the setting.

This is very strange. I have disabled it temporarily so please advise how to fix this glitch.

    Thank you.

    AMS

p.s. note potensial is spelt incorrectly on the plugin. It is potential.

Hi, we’ll need wp-admin login details to check it. Please provide us with the details as private reply.

I enabled IDS option and I could view home page and all inner pages without any issue. Can you please check?

Hi, thanks for the clear instruction on how to reproduce the issue.

I increased “block threshold” to 30 (from 20) and it seems to be working fine now.

The request is blocked by HMWP IDS if it reaches or crosses the impact threshold. The request might be marked unsafe/dangerous depending on who and from where the request is being made and other various factors. So, if you are sure that the request is valid then add that blocked request to exception field.

Thanks for this update. I will add it to the exception list but it quite unusual that it only happens on one site, and not the others..

    have a good weekend.
