    Hello,

I went through the existing posts and was quite cautious on the settings.

Everything looked fine and the new admin path worked as expected but I see the backend CSS got broke.

    Please can you advice.

PS: Attaching HMWP debug report in second message below.

Hi, as the issue is related to backend css, can you please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue.

Also, try deactivating WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin.

I could see that http://www.viralbae.com/stories/post-new.php is working fine now. But when I checked your site’s page source I see that wordpress default paths are not being changed at all as per the settings applied in HMWP.
Have you made any changes to your site recently (like adding new plugin, etc.)?

No. I haven’t made any. In fact, HMWP was my last change.

Please could you advise how do we fix this.

Do you require hosting credentials to make any update to htaccess. Kindly let me know.

    i) sorry for confusion. Yes, http://www.viralbae.com/stories/post-new.php is wp backend and hence the url doesn’t change

ii) I couldn’t see the options aligned to the left in http://www.viralbae.com/stories/post-new.php? All looks good to me. May be you can show the issue with the screenshot?

I added the following replacement in “replace url” option under replace tools tab, and now the Post url is fine.

I logged in as author and checked the url http://www.viralbae.com/stories/post-new.php; but didn’t see any css issue – http://screencast.com/t/ir7FcvmZTWC

I clicked on ‘reset settings to WP’ button in HMWP start tab to see how ‘post settings’ sections originally looks like, but now site seems to be broken.

To restore, you’ll need to comment our the HMWP line that you have added in wp-config.php and respective rule from htacess file. Then goto HMWP settings and click on “restore previous settings” button in start tab, and uncomment the lines in wp-config.php and htaccess files.

Let us know when done and also provide with the screenshot of original ‘post settings’ section.
