    I updated Hide My WP from v2.11 to v5.01 today.

    1. Now when I set the “Hide Login Page” the new login link does not work in Chrome or IE (“Page not found”). It seems to work in Firefox, but then stops (“Page not found”, this may just be the cache). I am not using any script blockers in Chrome or IE.

    In any case I can’t seem to get the new login link to work. Is there any obvious reason this might not work? It worked fine in v 2.11.

    2. In the case that I am trying this and get “Page not found” and cannot login (or, say, forget the new logon url), how can i easily reset the logon page? Can I just remove the hide_my_wp folder from plugins?

    Hi,

    1) as you are able to access login page in some browser it could just be a cache issue

    2) yes, you can rename “hide_my_wp” plugin folder and then access the WP default login page; login to backend; rename back “hide_my_wp” plugin folder; and change the HMWP settings.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    It is odd. I have reinstalled from scratch and here is the situation:

    Logged in as admin in Firefox I can access the original login page “wp-login.php” and the “wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=”XXXXXX

    In Chrome or IE I cannot access any url for a login page (“Page not found”).

    Any idea why this would be?
