Dear Support,
I experienced an issue whereby I was locked out of the entire multisite network within 5-10 minutes. It required loading a restore of the previous days backup.
The plugin was uploaded, installed and activated through the admin interface. It was network activated.
I never added in the purchase code.
I selected “medium privacy – quick” from the options list, data filled the filled as expected.
I clicked save settings.
I navigated to General Settings, I changed the “hide_my_wp” to “big_love” and the login key from “1234” to “7777”. No other settings were used or changed.
I clicked save settings.
I clicked on the multisite button, copied the text there into the appropriate place in the .htaccess file. I uploaded the .htaccess file ensuring 644 permissions.
I navigated to wpthemedetector and happily saw I was no longer broadcasting plugin information.
I logged out and logged in again using the new login url. Worked perfectly.
I then tried to navigate to other areas in the admin dashboard. I was now met with page not found errors wherever I tried to go.
The security plugin I use saw my ip address as causing 404 errors and I was then permanently banned from the site and lost control of the site necessitating a restore of the site. This caused a huge loss in confidence on this product, which is a shame as I really want to believe in it.
Please can you offer some advice on how to rectify the problem?
Thank you,
Elliot

Thanks for working on this issue. When you say “reset settings to wp” do you mean do a restore of the network?
I have tried logging in to the dashboard but with no success.
Kind regards,

Thank you the changes and advice. I can confirm access and control over the admin dashboards. I will monitor closely for the rest of the day.
I have also left a 5* Customer Service rating as a thank you for all your efforts.
They were greatly appreciated.
Best wishes for the future.
