    Sorry to trouble you, but I cannot configure HMWP with Multisite – even after setting the proper htaccess permissions (777). I keep getting an “Access Denied” error messages on the new page when I click the Multisite Configuration button.

    Update: I spent a considerable amount of time troubleshooting the access denied error with Cloudways tech support, and they couldn’t find a problem on their end or with the permissions I established. Still getting the error…

    Hi, renaming wp-admin is complex feature and it sometimes might not work as expected, especially with WPMU. We can check it for you. Please let us know your site’s credentials (wp-admin and ftp details) as private reply.

    I have reset all HMWP settings to WP Default, and it should be working now.
