Hello,
It has been quite long ago when we were going to launch the website but unfortunately we were not able, but now we are in the state of launching the site.
The HMWP is giving me 500 error and i am not able to launch home page or admin panel both. Following changes were done:
I have selected medium privacy setting and have hide the login page. I also wanted to hide the wp-admin so changed the value to panel and then saved the settings.
wp-config and .htaccess was also been modified.I got the new link to admin panel in email, but when i tried to access the page it gave me 500 error and was not able to login. I have to reset the settings inorder to rollback to changes.
Can you recheck the settings and test the website after implementation. As without this plugin running we cannot launch our website so it is critical for us. what we want is no trace of wordpress on our website.

1) check the server logs to see what exactly is the error (the error message)
2) can you try deactivating other plugins and then apply HMWP settings?
Let us know!
November 14, 2016 at 12:23 pm #128441) check the server logs to see what exactly is the error (the error message)
Ans: I have checked the server logs but couldn’t find any error specific to hide my wordpress. I have attached the error logs too if you can verify the logs. See this plugin is most usefull for our website and i haven’t found alternative so please help me out in setting up this plugin. Client is impressed with the plugin but needs to be configured asap. So if you will help me out from your end in taking some extra time and analysing the error and issue of the plugin than it will be much usefull.2) can you try deactivating other plugins and then apply HMWP settings?
Ans: I tried de-activating some plugin but the import settings in the hide my wordpress is not working while saving the settings, the scheme gets to default. The customized settings of the wp-login is also changing to default. Can you please try this option and test. I have shared the access of admin panel of kedianomics with you. What we want as a final out put is hide the fact that we are using wordpress on our website and my login url should be http://www.kedianomics.com/logintowebsite.php?haldiram=namkeen and also tell us the step or brief overview how u achieved this so that in future we can take care of the same alone without disturbing you.November 15, 2016 at 8:20 am #12862Adding server log in attachments. Please keep us updated on the solution of issue.

It seems that issue is still occurring and the 500 error hasn’t been resolved. I am not able to connect to the admin panel as well as front end of the website. please recheck the settings which you have applied and please try to resolve the issue at the earliest.
Why are we the only one who are facing this issue? what can be the reason? There are thousands of happy customers using this wonderful plugin then what unique things we have on website which is creating the issue?
It would be great if you help us in resolving the issue asap.

It’s ose-firewall which is a security and backup plugin which was creating the 500 error. I have disabled the plugin and configured all the features and it seems to be working so can you help me out what can be done for the same as the conflicting plugin is also important to us for taking the regular backup and protecting our site from attacks. I have renamed the folder name of plugin to ose-firewall1. please have a look at this and let me know what can be done.
I have changed the admin login to http://www.kedianomics.com/wp-login.php?haldiram=namkeen
November 18, 2016 at 5:29 pm #12955In that case we recommend you to use other security plugin like Wordfence, iThemes Security, etc. These are compatible with HMWP.
November 18, 2016 at 6:35 pm #12958Dear Suman,
I have license version of Centrora which provides security as well as github and disk backup. I also have licensed version of hide my wordpress on my website too. So i can’t scrap my purchased product and buy another one.
Please a humble request if you can help me in resolving this compatibility issue.November 20, 2016 at 5:22 am #12973This reply has been marked as private.November 20, 2016 at 7:06 am #12985Suman many thanks.
Pardon my naivette, but at this moment HMWP medium security is on or high security.
Could you help decipher the main features we lose out on if we switch from high security to medium in HMWP? -
