HI,
We had activated HMWP. Issues on speed happened with massive slow down and it seemed it is the setup of W3TC plugin and likely the CDN Plugin for creating a local subdomain to push static content through that.
So disabled HMWP.
Still issues continued to persist and site kept on getting slowed down. So disabled W3TC as well as the CDN plugin. No respite. So re-activated HMWP. No resolve.
We badly need your help. I understand you have many tickets often. But given our panic state perhaps you will consider us sooner. A critical conference launch has been delayed already by 24 hours and we gave up now seeking your asap intervention to help us get the site back in the same state and please do configre medium settings for HMWP.
Kindly be aware we have subscription to malcare service by Blogvault guys for virus and other malicious intrusions protection. A firewall is already active from our cloud connection to this account and will be very tough to deactivate. So if you feel / find two firewalls are not going to work ot and I had issued in the past with the firewall in updraft and yours so mentioning this as a potential factor for you to resolve things in a single round hopefully. So decide whatever is appropriate with this awareness.
Though pages were appearing to be loading but on running any site speed test such gtmetrix or pingdom or webpagespeed test 404 errors only! Some mess or thing has happened to urls that we arent able to figure out?!
October 8, 2018 at 1:59 am #23663If it helps to know indexing and other optimizations were done to our database tables. NOt sure if HMWP is concerned with that and this is causinng any issues. Once you provide the private posting option will share all reqired credentials for you to take a look into anything you need to. Please do somehow look into this matter soonest. If I fail to make this page launch it will damage me deeply. Hope somehow you can see this message.

It’s because the HMWP rules in htaccess file are not being followed. Can you please let us know your site’s FTP credentials as private reply so that we can look into the htaccess? Thanks!October 8, 2018 at 7:19 am #23669This reply has been marked as private.October 8, 2018 at 11:34 am #23673This reply has been marked as private.October 8, 2018 at 6:47 pm #23684This reply has been marked as private.October 8, 2018 at 7:55 pm #23685I’m getting “Login authentication failed” error while connecting to FTP. Can you please check?
October 8, 2018 at 8:03 pm #23686A vague reply if we consider the massive time lapse.
What sort of error?
Did you use sftp and port 21.
What do I check? It’s working for me?
To expedite support and reduce your work load too why don’t you create a private form where we can right at the beginning fill up wp admin details, FTP/sftp details and cpanel and whm too.
This ping pong on emails with no real movement forward gets excessively frustrating, please understand. Let each of your communications reflect some basic minimum care that when a site goes down reputation and much else of value can be at deep stake.
How do I answer such a vague delayed query in any helpful manner I cannot comprehend.
Hope your next reply won’t consume much time and certainly not the standard 12 hours it’s been taking. Can’t keep a site down for days and days and staying awake night after night to reply to you quickly hoping you too will reply quickly.
It’s 1.30 am in India. You very well are an Indian and such vague replies at such hours that you often make cannot give a sense of being safe and supported. If my site is to stay down for several days in a row and have to stay awake several nights in a row and this would happen few times a year I am not sure if you realize what is this doing to your loyal customers.
