Hi, i’ve just bought the plugin and installed it already on my web, but i have no idea where to start from. Actually the main purpose for me to buy this plugin is to hide the fact that my web runs on wordpress, and also hide my theme’s name, could you please give me some instructions. I’ve tried the replace url for theme plugins & upload, but it doesnt change anything. When i viewed the source code of the web its still the same like when i havent used the plugin. Please reply soon thanks!

    Hi, please follow these steps:

    – in HMWP start tab, set ‘Medium Privacy – More Compatibility’ scheme and save the settings
    – in HMWP permalinks & urls tab, set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins” and save the settings

Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writable. After applying above settings the backend login URL will be http://www.YourDomain.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234 (you can change secret code “hide_my_wp=1234” from general settings tab)

And i also noticed that when we try to access myweb.com/module/ or myweb.com/file/ etc, it kind of show the entire directory, and show a link to the parent directory which reveals that it’s a wordpress based. Is there anyway to solve it?

Hi, can you please generate debug report from HMWP start tab and post it here as private reply.
And please explain the above issue using the actual URLs so that we can check.

You can try enabling/checking “Directory List” option under HMWP general settings tab. If it still doesn’t help then please disable Indexing via your hosting CPanel. You may ask your hosting provider regarding this.
