    Hello,

    I got this annoying 1 plugin update badge stuck after updating to the 5.0 version. How can I get rid of it?

    Also, I wanna know how I can get the real IP addresses revealed on IDS logs when using CloudFlare. I already use CloudFlare plugin, but it doesn’t seem to operate as intended for the HMWP logs.

    Hi, I didn’t get what exactly is the issue with the update.
    The IP that you see in Dashboard >> Intrusions is the visitor’s IP.

    Hello Suman,

    After updating HMWP to 5.0, WordPress keeps telling me there’s still 1 pending plugin update, when in reallity there’s not.

    Concerning the second issue, I’m not getting the real IP addresses from attackers, since I’m using CloudFlare and traffic passes through them first. All logged IPs are pointing to “AS13335 CloudFlare, Inc.“. As result, I’m unable to block the real source.

    Hi César, so in this case you are seeing real IPs in the log because of Cloudflare. We’ll need to see how to make it compatible with clouflare. We’ve noted this down and we might fix this in the upcoming versions of the plugin.

    And regarding the update badge issue, I deactivated HMWP and re-activated it and it’s gone. However, we’ll look into it, why it’s happening.

    Thank you, bro. I tried deactivating and re-activating it before, but the badge returned when I imported all my settings.

    Hi Cesar, the update badge issue will be fixed in the next version of the Plugin.
