    Hi,

I reduce the IDS Firewall “Block Threshold” value from 15 to 8 and after that, when I try to login to my Administrator dashboard, I see the 404 page instead.

I can still login if a use a less powerful user function i.e. WordPress Editor role

Please advise urgently as I cannot login to the website anymore as Administrator.

    Thank you.

You should be careful while reducing “Block Threshold” value, as it might block some useful requests as well. Please try setting it between 15 to 20.

    Hi,

As I am now not able to login as Administrator (redirected to the 404 page instead), and hence can no longer view the settings in Hide My WP.
Please advise how I can adjust the Block Threshold settings without logging in as the Administrator.

    Thanks.

Go to /wp-content/plugins/ directory and rename “hide_my_wp” plugin to something else. Now login to wp-admin, and then rename back hide_my_wp plugin. Hope this helps.
