I have installed the plugin at http://www.werpurple.org and went thru the setup process. amended my config and my htaccess files. Tried to login and it would not let me. So i removed the admin cookie line in my config file and it allowed me to login. But the site was was all messed up. so i added the admin control line back into the config and the site loaded. But now i cannot get to my dashboard. It shows that I am logged in, the dashboard shows at the top, but i can only see the front end of the site. Please help!!

Hi, so did you try to rename wp-admin path name? It seems like some issue with htaccess. Can you please let us know your website’s backend details (as private reply) so that we can have a look at the issue.

Hi, renaming wp-admin path is not working in your site. Other settings are working fine. I had to reset the settings to WP. I’ve currently applied medium privacy settings. You can change the settings as your need (except renaming wp-admin)

These seem to be malicious requests (possible hack attempts) detected by IDS firewall. But you need not worry as HMWP IDS will take care of this and will block such malicious requests if Impact level is more than 20 (default value specified in HMWP IDS). You can stop receiving emails regarding this by setting “Notification Threshold” option to 0 in IDS tab.

Also, the login URL http://werpurple.org/wp-login.php?purple_login=8888 now works.
