    Dear Sir,

    I cannot log into my wordpress Admin backend after some update of your plugins. However, the front end and login pages work well, but when trying to enter correct username and password, it wont let me in.

    Because I use Firefox to remember the username and password, I can be automatically logged in; then I went to Profile Editing page to generate a new password; then I tried with that new password, but it is still the same error – it does not let me in.

    Please see the screenshot attached with that error after trying to logging into WP Admin.

    Can you please advise how to solve the above error?

    Update: I found the issue which is caused by the latest WordPress updates – version 5.3.2; not caused by the last update of Hide MyWP plugins.

    How can I fix this issue? Otherwise, I will never be able to update WordPress in the future?

    Or I have to wait for a new update of WordPress and try it again?

    Can you please advise?

    Hi, first of all we recommend you to update to the latest version of HMWP i.e. 6.0.1
    You can auto update it from site’s backend or download it from your Envato Panel and update manually.

    Regarding backend login issue, did you rename wp-admin path name is HMWP settings? If so then you might have missed some step during the rename. Also, please rename hide_my_wp plugin folder name in /wp-content/plugins/ directory and then see if you can access the site’s backend.

    Hi,

    Yes i did install the latest version of your plugins.

    Yes, I did change the path of default WP login for Admin; it has been working fine before WordPress 5.3.2

    Would you need to update your plugins so that it can work with WordPress 5.3.2 as redirection failed as you could see in the screenshot attached.

    Yes, there was no issue with updating WordPress, but the issue occurs after updating it as I cannot log into WordPress Admin.

    Did you change any settings in your plugins (Hide My WP) after you running WP updates?

    Or did you change .htacess after updating?

    I have got issues with my LIVE site.

    a. And after I restored my latest backup of my live site, I was not able to log into WP Admin.

    b. Because of above (a), I have to install my backup file made a month ago which is the one you have access to. I also tried to run WordPress update after I restored; there was issue with login as mentioned at the start of the ticket.

    How can I solve this issue?
