I’ve noticed after I installed the program I had conflicting issues from the other plugins. My images disappeared from the sales pages. I deactivated the plugin due to time issue and didn’t edit anything manually in cpanel. I tried to login into my site the next day only to find the wp-login.php on hide my wp had changed to some generic login. Tried to login and says The page isn’t redirecting properly. For the heck of it put my URL only and the home page loaded weird and a partial back-end dashboard. When I try to click on this dashboard to say settings or theme options I get a Error 404 Not Found. I was mad and deleted everything in the hide my WP folder to see if it would help and it didn’t. Saw in the help section about the renaming the folder I did that and it didn’t help.
I’m no computer genius, but can do some things to get me by. I noticed you state a If it was not enough rename .htaccess, too. Do you mean Rename the .htaccess to something like .htaccesswp as example? Or open the .htaccess and edit. When I do open the .htaccess I do see the rewrite rules for the hide my WP. I just don’t know what to do there.
Also nothing in my wp-congif.php in the date section for last modified had changed prior to the day I installed Hide My WP plugin. So that rules anything out there.
All I want to do is access my site again back to its normal self and deal with it at another time. I was to close to opening my store up before this happened.
