Hello,
So far I am very satisfied with the plugin. Congrats for it!
However, one details bothers me, and that’s the URL I am getting after somebody writes new comment on the Site. URL I receive by email is default WordPress URL, and not changed, so whenever I click on URL, I am getting 404 page.
How I can fix that problem?Thank you.
Sinisa

The link in the email, when someone comments is something like – http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=moderated
This is admin URL. I’m not sure why you are getting 404 page. Can you please post a sample email content that you receive when someone comments.

I am getting Error 404 page, because there is no more default admin url, because HideMyWP creates new URL.
Here you can find samples of such URLs:Approve: http://www.adriankezele.com/wp-admin/comment.php?action=approve&c=29
Send to bin:
http://www.adriankezele.com/wp-admin/comment.php?action=trash&c=29
Mark as Spam:
http://www.adriankezele.com/wp-admin/comment.php?action=spam&c=29
1 Comment waits approval:
http://www.adriankezele.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=modera
tedThank you.

I am talking about this:
Hide wp-login.php. [Important: You need to remember new address to login!]That’s the feature we have in previous version too, so it’s weird if it’s still in beta state.

Sinisa

So, if you add the secret key to the comment notification url, does it work?
For example:
http://www.adriankezele.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=modera&hide_my_wp=1234Note: replace “hide_my_wp=1234” with your secret key

Yes, you are right. If I change URL (adding my secret key) it will work. I know that.
But that means I have to change (in fact, my friend, who is the owner of the Site) every of that URL each time (and that’s very often, several comments during a day).
It’s not very handy and practical. This is why I am here asking for some solution 😉Kindest regards,
Sinisa
