Comment post fail

I am unable to post comment after setting up HMWP on my website.

It says “Comment Submission Failure… ERROR: please fill the required fields (name, email).”

because forum is public i can not provide my website URL here, is there any other way i can send URL?

BTW i have filled all fields, comment, name, email and even website with valid data.

Hi, can you please try deactivating Anti-spam option under HMWP general settings tab? If still doesn’t work then also disable IDS option under IDS Firewall tab. Let us know.

i have cleared cache and it worked now, i don’t want to disable anti spam and/or IDS protection. What do i need to do so i keep both enabled?

Can you please check with only Antispam option disabled and IDS enabled?

i never enabled IDS, i have used it on another site and i find it useful. planning to enable it on this site too.

on this site i have paid membership of Akismet but i dont think there is any conflicts between 2 plugins.

what other recommendations do you have?

You already have Akismet so you can disable HMWP anti-sapm option. Is it still the issue after you disable HMWP anti-sapm option?

how can i disable IDS email notifications? i am getting huge amount of emails?

You can set “notify threshold” to 0 in IDS Firewall tab.
