Configuration with W3 Total Cache

Hi!

In FAQs at page https://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-amazing-security-plugin-for-wordpress/4177158/support, it is written that we have to replace line function w3_normalize_file_minify($file) { with function w3_normalize_file_minify000($file) { in file ‘wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/inc/define.php’. But there is no such line or function in the mentioned file.

What are the things to be done with W3 Total Cache?

Hi, HMWP is compatible with W3Total cache. Are you facing any issue while both the plugins are active?

The above emails are sent by HMWP IDS (intrusion detection system) when the requests coming to the site is detected as suspicious. We believe this is not the cause of you not being able to login.

In HMWP settings, did you apply one of the pre-made settings scheme from HMWP start tab? If so, then the new login URL will be http://www.YourSite.com/wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234

Or did you rename wp-admin path? Do let us know.

I knew my modified login URL so the problem was not there.

Anyway, I have deactivated HMWP and cleaned up .htaccess file and database so I can start trying afresh. But now I plan to try it on test server first. So I have following two questions:

1. Will HMWP work on local host? Is there any extra precaution?

2. What about things written in FAQs at page https://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-amazing-security-plugin-for-wordpress/4177158/support for installing it in conjugation with W3 Total Cache? Do they need to be followed or HMWP has overcome that limitation now? Specifically, can I select “Rewrite URL structure” if I need to use Minify module of W3 Total Catche?
