I find that when I activate menu class clean-up, this takes away one class too many, namely the one responsible for designating the currently active menu item. I don’t use the standard WP class for this. Instead I use a custom menu walker to add this class in functions.php and it is overridden when I activate menu class clean-up in hide-wp. Any idea how to fix?

This option is marked “*” in HMWP, meaning that it is still in Beta state. We recommend not to enable this option if it’s causing any issue.
