    Until WP4.8.0 HMWP (5.5.2) was masking my site fine, but after I updated it to 4.8.1, it is not longer fully masking the site.

    Has there been any other report on this issue as of WP 4.8.1 update?

    Hi, can you please try these:

    – set “New wp-content path” in Permalinks & urls tab
    – set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins”

    Let us know!

    Hi, we checked all the settings and the site’s page source, and all looks good, but still wordpress is being detected. It could be an active plugin that’s making it detect as WP site. But as it’s a live site we couldn’t try deactivating any of the plugins.
    Is it possible for you to clone the website so that we can check further? Let us know. Thanks!

    I noticed that as soon as I completed cloning the site, but did you make any changes?

    They are exactly the same settings. If you did not make any changes to the clone, why is the original being detected, and not the clone?

    No, we didn’t make any change in the cloned site. But yes wordpress is being detected in original site. I’ll assign this ticket to sr. support so that he can look into it further.

    When I test other pages on the original live site, whatcms returns “no cms detected” result on all pages except the homepage, so the issue is somewhere within the homepage.

    I see no hint of it being wordpress site while looking at the site’s page source. It might be that whatcms.org is serving the result from the cache, not sure though!

    Nope, that’s my view (also because whatcms doesn’t detect WP in “www.bluemountainschamber.ca”)
