ERROR Message When Installing the Plugin.

Hello,

I just purchased this plugin and when uploading it to my website I received this message “Hide My WP Security Check: Your site is at risk. WP installed wrongly: one or more of security keys are invalid.”

Can you help me resolve this issue?

Hi, in HMWP there is a security check to make sure that wordpress secret keys (in wp-config.php) are valid and secure. More info regarding security keys here – https://www.wpwhitesecurity.com/wordpress-tutorial/wordpress-security-keys/

And security keys can be generated from here – https://api.wordpress.org/secret-key/1.1/salt/

Alright!
If it’s WP single-site then make sure that .htaccess file is writable. If not writable and you don’t want htaccess content to be updated automatically then apply HMWP setting, go to “general settings” tab and click on “Manual configuration” button. You’ll then see the window with all the required instructions.
