    We have domain and domain/subfolder. both have separate wordpress installations and unique 404 error page. HMWP is installed only on domain.

    However, we are facing frequent 404 error from domain/subfolder which gets redirected to 404 page of domain

    Hi, can you please let us know your domain and domain/subfolder website URLs? Leave HMWP activate so that we can check. Also we assume that as it’s separate WP installations, each has it’s own htaccess file too?

    You mean the valid links in http://triptaptoe.com/getaways/ sometimes give 404 error and the error page is from http://triptaptoe.com ?

    Also, I tried to browse through several pages in http://triptaptoe.com/getaways/ but didn’t get any 404 error!
