    Hello,

    Could you please let me know how I can solve this issue.

    I seem to randomly get a 502 error on our site when updating a plugin or activating a plugin etc.

    Hi, is this the issue only when HMWP is active? If so, please try these:

    – disable “Anti Spam” option in HMWP General settings tab
    – disable “Directory List” option in General settings tab
    – disable “Hide PHP Files” option in General settings tab
    – empty out “Ajax URL” field in Permalinks & URLs tab

    – if above doesn’t fix the issue then set “block threshold” value to 30 in IDS Firewall tab.

    – if it’s still the issue then try disabling IDS option in IDS Firewall tab
