Dear support,
Kindly could you please help me with an issue according “Hide my wp” plugin.
After i have installed and configured the plugin in my wordpress site, i have noticed that google extensions as “Appspector”, “Wappalyzer” are still able to identify that my site is using wordpress.
I’m not sure what i am missing so looking forward hearing from you!

You’ll need to remove/replace such comments using HMWP “replace in html” option under replace tools tab. Add replacements like below:
Powered by Visual Composer – drag and drop page builder for WordPress. ==> PVC
If WP is still being detected then, please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue further.

According a comment /*WPML*/ i am not able to remove it.
What would you suggest?December 31, 2015 at 3:59 pm #6948Suman M.Post count: 12478You need to copy the exact text from the page source. Also, you might want to replace the following url from the comment added by plugin:

– goto HMWP Start Tab, select “Medium Privacy – More Compatibility” scheme and save the settings
– goto Permalink & URLs tab and set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins”Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.
Also, as I explained in my previous post, you’ll need to remove/replace text/commentsadded by plugins/them using HMWP “replace in html” option under replace tools tab.
