Gravity Forms User Registration Addon Problem

Hi. Just want to quickly report this issue to you.

For the past few days, our website registration form, which we used Gravity Forms to create stopped working suddenly. After a few days of troubleshooting, we finally discovered that the new feature in “Hide My WordPress” which hides popular plugins such as “Gravity forms, Woocommerce… was causing the problem. The Gravity Forms user registration started working normally as soon as we unchecked that feature. I think it’s a very good feature added to HMWP, but with that problem it can’t be used by sites using Gravity Forms for registration.

Hi, thanks for letting us know. This is complex feature, and might cause such issue in combination with other options enabled (Ajax, IDS, etc.).
We’ve noted it down and we’ll see if it’s affecting others too similarly. thanks again!

Yes. I think the real source of the problem is enabling the “IDS” in conjunction with those features. In our case, the IDS keeps blocking registration via Gravity Forms. I have tried to exclude our IP, but is there any feature to generally exclude the registration page from being blocked by the IDS when people are completing registration via Gravity Forms?

There isn’t an option to exclude certain pages from being blocked by the IDS. You can try setting Block Threshold value to 30 (if it’s less than this now). Let us know!
