Hide My WP breaks the new Elementor update

Hi there,
I have just finished with tech support from Elementor who have confirmed that Hide My WP breaks the new Elementor v2.6 update.
They have removed the Plugin for me and I can now use Elementor again on my site.

Hide My WP stopped the elementor update from activating the new Fonts Awesome 5 icons they have added to the plugin and stopped me from being able to edit my templates.

I like Hide My WP it gives me a feeling of security, but if I cannot use it with my preferred template editor then what good is it?
I grow increasingly frustrated with this plugin. It is also the source of the following error which has not been fixed yet.

****The scheduled event, pp_important_messages3, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.***

Please remind me why I paid money for this plugin, and let me know when you intend on updating and fixing some of the associated issues?
I am very disappointed with this purchase. I use the free plugin – WP Hide & Security Enhancer on my other site and have had no problems at all with it, but i paid for your plugin and got nothing but headaches.

I forgot to mention that Country Blocking still does not work also.

Hi, apologies for the inconvenience caused. We are already working on the issues you mentioned like “The scheduled event, pp_important_messages3, failed to run”, “Block countries”, etc.

Regarding Elementor, HMWP is compatible with it. We’ll check with latest Elementor v2.6 and let you know. It would be helpful if you could provide us with detailed error message (if any) or screenshot of the error page. Thanks!

Regarding Elementor, please empty out these fields in HMWP Permalinks & URLs tab:
– API Base
– API Query
– Page Query
– Post Query
