Hi,
It looks like Cameron haack posted this issue 1 week, 3 days ago. Any update on this?
Can’t create new posts types and receive this error:
“You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order to edit page with Elementor .”(see attached).
I disabled Hide My WP for now. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

July 21, 2019 at 6:28 am #26946Yes. You should have the credentials, right?
To recreate > enable HMWP > use Medium Privacy (More compatibility) preset > go to Header Builder > create new header > name header and click “edit with eliminator” > receive error
Then, If you turn off HMWP you will see you can create a Header and edit with Elementor again.
July 21, 2019 at 6:41 am #26947It doesn’t appear to break the site. It seems isolated to only creating new post types with Elementor. Same thing happens for “Footer Builder” and PopUp maker, which is located in Templates. Ideally I would be able to create new post types without having to disable the plugin.

July 21, 2019 at 9:13 pm #26956Hi,
So I went ahead and enabled HMWP plugin and just setup the error message. I’ll leave it as is until you have a chance to get in there and see what’s going on. Again, you can see the error by creating a new Header or Footer post type. It appears the issue only happens when I import options Medium Privacy – More Compatibility (recommended). I haven’t tested it with the other option imports.
Hope this helps you isolate the setting that is causing the issue. Keep me posted and thanks.
July 22, 2019 at 5:07 am #26959Hi, I emptied out these fields in Permalinks & URLs tab – Ajax URL, API Base, API Query, Post Query, Page Query. Now the elementor editor seems to be working fine.
Can you please check? Also, enter HMWP purchase code in Start tab.
July 22, 2019 at 1:18 pm #26972Working great now. Thank you!
