    Hello,

I need precise and easy to understand instructions for reverting my WP installation into the same state before the plugin messed up my site.

Reset settings to WP and disabling the plugin haven’t changed anything and it left my WP installation broken.

    Thank you in advance

Ps: havent edited anything manually, neither in config.php nor htacess nor in WordPress’s permalink settings just tested the plugin and made also changes just in the Hide my WP settings menu.

PPS: Site is now utterly slow and it seems it cannot fetch images anymore from the upload folders

Hi, as you have not manually changed any file, simply disabling HMWP Plugin shall restore your previous WP default settings.
Please let us know your site’s wp-admin login details as private reply so that we can look into the issue further. Thanks!

    Hi,

A friend of mine helped me with the issue already and he also told me that Hide my WP is and was not the best option for complex sites wich powered with a lot of plugins, stricter security settings would’ve been anyway impossible (like all settings on max) with this plugin on complex sites since it would 100% interfere with other advanced plugins and cause therfore problems, which renders the usefullness of Hide my WP sadly useless.

You guys should therfore really write a desiclaimer warning onto the description page maybe even as first on top so people are warned before they buy and you’ll get less complains and less bad ratings (which are getting of course removed if refunded).

Hi, HMWP does work with complex sites with several plugins. But yes, some tweaks in the plugin’s settings might be required depending upon the complex plugins.
If we could know the exact issue you are having then we could help you resolve it. Thanks!
