    Hello,

When i check “Hide Admin” (Hide wp-admin folder and its files for untrusted users.) option wp-admin hide for everyone, but in the same time its prohibits uploading files to a website. For example normal users can not upload the picture to the article.

Is it possible to make a link WP-ADMIN leave a hidden and at the same time add the ability to upload files to the site (for example images).

    Thanks in advance!

Hi, please try setting “trusted user roles” under HMWP general settings tab. Let us know.

    Hello,

So, i just noted a Contributor and Subscriber as a Trusted users. And really, they can set up the Featured Images to the post which they posted and also can upload other files. But in the same time they also have access to the sitedomain.com/WP-ADMIN.

I want to allow users to upload images and files, but at the same time not have access to sitedomain.com/

P.S. I use Frontend Publishing Pro plugin

You can enable “Hide Admin” option from HMWP general settings tab and set “Login query” and “Admin Login Key”, such that the secret login url will be http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?{Login query}={Admin Login Key}.

We recommend you to follow these steps:

    – goto HMWP Start Tab, select “Medium Privacy – More Compatibility” scheme and save the settings
    – goto Permalink & URLs tab and set “rename plugins” option to “all plugins”

    With WP-LOGIN it’s all good, he’s hidden.

But WP-ADMIN is not. If I activate the function Hide Admin (Hide wp-admin folder and its files for untrusted users.) then users can not upload files to the site, but also access to the page sitedomain.com/WP-ADMIN they also will not be.

I performed the actions that you recommend in the post above, but still remains the same.

Either, users can upload images and have access to the page WP-ADMIN or they can neither one nor the other.

Please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details (as private reply) and the page url where I can test the upload process (I’ll also need a subscriber user credentials) so that we can have a look at the issue.

Hi, I set all the “Trusted User Roles” and now I can upload images and submit the post with user “Efreet”

And you have an access to WP-ADMIN link, right?

I tried to check but it seems like HMWP plugin has been removed?
