I am using Mide My WP plugin along with w3 cache and cloudfront.

I was able to do the HTML replace rules to add the cdn address, the problem is that the page gets broken because for some reason “www” is added to the new generated url.

I deactivated the plugin and everything is back to normal.

    I started using wordfence now.

    MY QUESTION:

If I ONLY wanted to use your plugin to hide my wordpress theme name, what specific setting do I have to change on the plugin?

If your answer includes changing the URLs, then, how do I keep the plugin (if it is the plugin doing it) from adding “www”, to the newly generated url when I add my CDN url?

    Thanks.

You should not have any problem with W3TC and CDN. Anyway, to hide the theme, you need to change ‘New Them Path’ and ‘New Style Name’ (both in permalink tab) and yes, it needs to change some URLs.

I still not sure I understood you correctly, giving debug report (from Start tab) may be useful.

But before it try one of following:

  • Disable (or enable) canonical URL (in HMWP general settings tab)
  • Check out WP settings page ‘Home URL’ and ‘Site URL’ fields.
  • Let me know the result.
