    Hello!

    I set HMWP country blocking. I am located in Canada and only have USA and Canada to have access to my site. However, when i woke up this morning I can not access my site! It is telling me my message – Your country is not available to view this site”

    Now I deleted the plugin, re-installed it, but on a fresh install, the error instantly appears and blocks me out ( not even access to the plugin once I click activate to change the country blocking..)

    Please help!! My site is down and I am getting a lot of emails from upset users 🙁

    Hi Suman, I had to install the old version of the plugin to ensure it was protecting my site. If I install the newest one, the site will block all access.

    What do you recommend? What file can I check for?

    What’s the PHP version you are using? Please try updating it to PHP 5.5 or higher.

    Hi Suman,

    I am using 5.4.43.

    If this is the problem, why is this? It has been working 100% before?

    PHP 5.4 should be fine. Please let us know your website’s wp-admin login details & FTP details (as private reply), so that we can have a look at the issue further.

    The following credentials doesn’t seem to be correct and I’m locked out now.
    -user: suman
    -pass: contact5

    Regarding file uploads issue can you please do this:
    – empty out “New upload path” field in HMWP permalinks & urls tab
    – enter text like /inc in “New wp-content path” field

    Regarding country blocking, what did you enter in “Blocked Countries Code” field? If you only want USA and Canada to have access to site then you’ll need to enter country codes of all
    countries except USA and Canada.

    Regarding url replacement, do let us know the URLs that you still want to be masked in the page source. We’ll need valid backend login details to fix this.

    In Dashboard >> Intrusions, I could see that the requests related to form submission are being blocked. I’ve now added these requests to exception list. Can you check now if the form submission works fine or not? If still the issue then let us know where (url) we can check it.

    We request you not to use country blocking in your site until we look further into this issue.

    If you check the page source of helloclean.ca then you’ll not find any URLs with path /inc/integrations/, but the Inspector shows this path because it’s sub-folder of the theme, and currently HMWP doesn’t hide subfolders of theme/plugins.
