I’m using a premium theme that does not work when I change the theme directory name and style.css comments to reflect a different theme name . This procedure has worked for me many times in the past but not with some of the newer premium themes.

I purchased this plugin specifically for the purpose of changing the theme name so the original theme name doesnt show in the page source code, and instead, a new name of my choice appears in the page source code.

I dont mind if the original theme name shows in the wp backend, but primarily I just dont want the original name to show in the page source code. Of course, I still need to be able to do future theme updates. I am using a child theme as well.

It seems likely that this can be done but I havent been able to figure out the procedure yet.

Will someone please give me specific directions as to how I can accomplish this task with this awesome Hide My WP plugin?

    Thanks much,
    Mark

Just follow my reply in the plugin page.

If it doesn’t help take a look at http://codecanyon.net/item/hide-my-wp-no-one-can-know-you-use-wordpress/4177158/faqs/18136

If it even doesn’t help provide login details as a private reply.
