Hi,
I insert a image in a post. I want that my site does not open wp-content/uploads/image.jpj.jpeg because this image is not protected. How can I disable this link wp-content/uploads/image.jpj.jpeg? Is it possible with your plugin?Thank you very much. Regards.November 25, 2014 at 5:06 am #1483Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi,
Our plugin HMWP is to hide wordpress footprints so that no one can know you are using wordpress. It will not disable the link like /wp-content/uploads/image.jpg but will change the link to something like /file/image.jpg.
February 5, 2015 at 7:51 am #1756Well the question was “How”! I’m having issues with my pre-existing images or media files which follow the traditional path of wp-content/uploads/…
My URLs for content(images, files) are not changing and i have set the Replace Mode to Full Page
What good is the New Upload path if it does “not change the physical location” of files?!?!? I’m uploading files and they are still following the traditional wordpress path(wp-content/upload…) which I have to link to if someone expects to access that content.
I’ve checked both codecoanyon and your forum and i see no definitive answers to the countless questions related to this.
February 5, 2015 at 5:15 pm #1760Suman M.Post count: 12478Hi, the objective of HMWP plugin is to hide/mask all WP footprints so that the visitors and online tools can’t detect that it’s a wordpress site. HMWP doesn’t change any physical location of files.

Its not “masking” anything. Visitors can see its a wordpress site when clicking a PDF i uploaded to mysite since wp-content/upload is shown in the address bar.

I understood your issue the other way as per your first post here. Well, it seems like all default WP paths are being masked except /wp-content/upload/. This’s quite strange! Please provide us with your website backend details (as private message) so that we can further look into the issue.

February 9, 2015 at 12:17 am #1818Well i see you got it working, but please tell me what was done to fix it. That’s absolutely important for me. I need to be able to implement this in other sites and need to know this fix.
February 9, 2015 at 3:57 am #1820Suman M.Post count: 12478It is partially fixed, PDF path now works but logo doesn’t. I still need to fix that but admin section is no more accessible now. Please make it work as I mentioned above, so that I can look further into it.

I don’t see any way for me to read your message. i hope it includes what you did to “partially” fix the issue….cause that’s what i need. At this point you probably should probably leave it public so others can see your resolution. Everyone is going to need this. I only made my one message private so my credentials were not publicly available

I was looking into the issue and I think some changes in htaccess has caused backend to throw 500 error! Can you please restore your previous htaccess (attached) via FTP, and let me know.Attachments:
