I’ve gotten the multisite to work completely fine on nginx which wasn’t too hard tbh.
But after I changed the admin panel location, I keep getting insufficient permissions error on only “hide my wp” settings page. Is it known to do this or is there a way to fix this specific issue or change back to the old settings? I did have some issues to be fair while setting up the new admin panel location, but I got that fixed.

Hi, first of all, Multisite on Nginx is not officially supported yet. But if you can convert htaccess rules to Nginx you may make it work. And it seems like you have managed to make it work, awesome! We recommend you not to activate the complex settings like renaming wp-admin. We hope to make HMWP fully compatible with Multisite on Nginx in the upcoming versions of the plugin.

I managed to get everything working that was needed. I created a symbolic folder link to wp-admin which made everything work. It’s kind of a work around, but it works. The plugin is working like a charm apart from changing the admin panel. This is partly because PHP scripts can’t be ran from nginx link situation it’ll cause php-fpm to error and not find .php files. This might also be me who setup my nginx+PHP a specific way and causes this error.

Hi, yes, there are some complications when it comes to nginx and wp multisite, and the reason why currently we do not support it. But hopefully we’ll come up with the solution in the upcoming versions of the plugin.
