Hi there, We installed HMWP and it has started showing HMWP IDS Log with columns such as Name, IP, Value, Date, Page. Under these columns it’s been showing some values which have impact such as 5/5. What do these values suggest? Is it dangerous and does it mean that there are attempts to hack our site? And should we delete them all or not?

Also it looks like our site is facing conflicts with the WP Super cache plugin. When we log out of the admin a/c the site content becomes invisible. But while I’m logged into the admin, the site is completely visible. This seems to be a serious issue. How do I fix it? There was a certain pop-up which advised to flush the wp-super cache. However, couldn’t get that what it meant at that time.

Hi, the malicious requests (possible hack attempts) are detected by HMWP IDS and you’ll be notified in the Log or by email. But you need not worry as HMWP PHP IDS will take care of this and will block such malicious requests if Impact level is more than 20 (default value specified in HMWP PHP IDS). You need not delete them.

So, is it that the site content becomes invisible after logout, only when HMWP is active? What if you deactivate HMWP? And what if you simply visit your site as normal visitor? Do let us know. Also, you need to delete/flush cache after applying settings in HMWP.

    Hi Suman,
The site content becomes invisible when we enable the WP Super Cache plugin along with the HMWP plugin. Looks like there is a conflict along with the plugin. And this happens at the administrator’s end only.

We’ve deleted the cache several times but this happens time and again.

    Hello,

I also have the same problem with the last version of HMWP (4.51). I did not have this problem before.
The site content become invisible after logout, only when HMWP is active. I found 2 solutions : uninstall HMWP or restaure the previous version. Now I’m using the version 4.03 and everything is working normally.

I am using WP Rocket (not WP Super Cache Plugin) but i’m suppose it’s almost the same principles.

    Thank you by advance,

Hi yoann, we checked and re-checked HMWP ver 4.511 in our test sites but we didn’t come across any such issue (content invisible after logout). So can you please provide us with your website’s backend details (as private reply) so that we can have a look at the issue further.
