    Hi,

Settings seem to work well so far visually on the front-end, and in the Source of the page as I go along, but I thought to test my forms created with Gravity Forms for issues.

With the standard settings Medium Privacy – More Compatibility set, when I submit the form, I get a Page Not Found instead of the default Text confirmation set on the Gravity Forms’ confirmation settings that’s set to trigger when a form is submitted.

Following some reading on your support site, I came across the suggestion to clear the API Base and API Query fields in Permalinks & URLs tab. When I do that, the Google reCaptcha that I have on the form just throws challenges non-stop and won’t complete the verify portion although I met their criteria. So, I repopulated the API Base and API Query fields with miscellaneous text and the reCaptcha challenge works once again, but still get the Page Not Found. Not sure what all to look at right now.

Hi, can you please try emptying out “Ajax url” field in Permalinks & urls tab? Also disable IDS option in IDS firewall tab if it still doesn’t work. Let us know!

Following all of these steps, and leaving the API Base and Query fields as they are by default seems to have solved the issue:

    – disable “Anti Spam” option in HMWP General settings tab
    – enter your name and email address in “Email sender name” and “Email sender address” fields in General settings tab
    – if still the issue then try disabling “IDS” option in IDS Firewall tab

I did them all, but for sure the disabling of Anti Spam didn’t help, but perhaps the latter two options for sure fixed the problem.

    Thank you again.

I saw your reply after I sent my message. It’s possible that it’s the IDS option that may have caused the problem. What is the risk, if any, to having IDS disabled?

HMWP IDS detects/blocks malicious requests coming to your site. But you can use security plugin like Wordfence along with HMWP for better security.
