    Hi there,

    I’ve been using your plugin and I am satisfied with it.
    I have downloaded your new version HMWP 5.5.1

    How do I make this update without losing my preferences setup?

    Hi, you should be able to auto update from within WP admin if you have entered valid purchase code in HMWP settings page.
    If you want to manually update it then you can simply replace old hide_my_wp content within /wp-content/plugins/ directory with the new version using FTP or CPanel.
    We recommend you to backup your current settings by clicking on “export current settings” in HMWP start tab and save it in a text file.
