One Admin can't login?

Hi, I am a regular use of WordPress for my clients. I bought & installed Hide My WP yesterday for the first time on a website.

I am the 2nd of 2 Administrators on that website. I can login no problem. I changed the login from http://www.example.com/wp-admin to http://www.example.com/somethingelse?this=1234

I can login and access the website with no issues via this link.

However the second administrator gets a 404 when they try to login. I have tried to login using their credentials and also get a 404. We have tried different browsers. We have reset the password via the Dashboard.

Another page that gives a 404 is the usual ‘Lost your password?’ page.

Please can you help? Thanks!

Hi, if it’s the users with same capability (administrator) then either both the users should be able to login or both not.
Can you please let us know these 2 user’s login credentials so that we can check the issue?

I would have thought exactly what you said but I can’t get in. I’ve temporarily deactivated it, so that now we can login via /wp-login.php.

Are these posts publically viewable? How can I grant you access privately?

Yes, you can make the post private by enabling/checking “Set as private reply” option at the bottom of comment box.
