    I am unable to access my page and any of the contents after installing the plugin. I can’t access the backend/admin to remove it again either.

    Received several of these emails:

    The following potential attack has been detected by HMWP IDS.

    If it’s you please Exclude that parameter or increase Notify Threshold from IDS settings.
    In most cases you don’t need to do anything. Hide My WP protects you!

    Looks like this is me, however.

    Hi, it may be because you previously tried to rename wp-admin path name. If you disable this feature or deactivate HMWP then make sure that you remove the code from wp-config.php (that you added during wp-admin rename) and also remove HMWP rules from htaccess file.

    And the emails above is Intrusions alert. You may disable it from IDS Firewall tab by setting Notify Threshold to 0.
