Removing Hide My WP breaks image file path
Hi hide_my_wp team
We are trying to deactivate your plugin and remove it but we are facing issues. It seems that many of our image file paths have been changed(or are stuck. Cache has been cleared) by the plugin which is strange as everything else resets back. This presents a big problem as it causes the server to crash due to excessive load time. Please, could you advise? Here is a snippet of the errors we receive when pages containing the image files location are clicked.
I have removed the plugin and would like to have all of my image field paths revert back.
I have a video I can add too if you wish.

Please, any guidance would be much appreciated. I would like the ability to remove all elements of this plugin cleanly.

Thank you

May 30, 2019 at 5:08 am #26428Hi, deactivating/removing HMWP plugin should actually reset the settings back. Did you manually rename any image path? I see these image URLs – https://staging4.retreatsandvenues.com/views/uploads/job-manager-uploads/job_logo/2019/03/Unity-Logo.jpg
(you probably renamed ‘wp-content’ to ‘views’)
So basically where is this image “https://staging4.retreatsandvenues.com/views/uploads/job-manager-uploads/job_logo/2019/03/Unity-Logo.jpg” coming from? Is it hardcoded in page/post? Please check and let us know.May 30, 2019 at 5:43 am #26429This reply has been marked as private.May 30, 2019 at 7:33 pm #26440This reply has been marked as private.May 31, 2019 at 11:49 pm #26446This reply has been marked as private.June 1, 2019 at 6:55 am #26449This reply has been marked as private. -
